LISTEN TO THIS, stomp stomp stomp, grrr, grrr, grrr, nrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHHHH, yeah! Its basically a Dan Garber double bill, since he sent me the track, but he didn’t write anything, so now its me introducing it to you (even though you may have heard it before).
A customer wrote on Amazon about her debut album, Catching A Tiger; “If you have dreams of driving an open top car along an American freeway with the sun in the sky and the wind in your hair, this album is what you need in your stereo”. Couldn’t have put it better
The Stodart and Gannon siblings are collectively forming The Magic Numbers. After their second album, ‘those the brokes’, they paused for a four-year breather and are now back with a third album which, contrary to its title, is a decidedly unrushed affair. ‘The Runaway’ is a finely crafted album of warm and endearing indie folk pop. Its low-key and its melancholy mood yields moments of quiet beauty.
The video for ‘DJ, Ease My Mind’ continues with the current trend of recycling found footage to startling effect. 1970′s acrobatic vibes galore. The video is for an exciting new artist called Niki and the Doves – the latest signing to Moshi Moshi Records. Their single will be out Aug 30th.

Brand new pop, and it is being put on by the NME. Yes the NME are now not taking as many chances with new acts and playing it safe on some sure hit makers. Eliza Doolittle, with ATC management and signed to Parlaphone, her path to stardom has been paved and she just needs to carry on writing and performing great catchy pop at its quirky best!
The former actress has just released her debut album, and will be touring with Paloma Faith after a string of festival dates. The support is definitely on my ones to watch too, The Good Natured are very cool, and I will be doing an exposure about them very soon!
