May 04, 2012 @ Koko

The Camden Crawl is back an bigger and better than ever this year, and to celebrate they’re kicking things off this year with a special Friday event at the legendary Koko venue, headlined by Death in Vegas.
Long time member Richard Fearless had this to say about playing the event: “We’re really over the moon to be playing the opening night of this brilliant festival. We’re going to bring our full on sonic and visual assault to Koko, our first time playing this amazing venue and first time playing Camden Crawl.”
The night will also feature four support bands and a club night after the headline band. We can already tell this is going to be a very exciting weekend.
February 03, 2012 @ The Next

Herve’s Cheap Thrills label is hitting The Nest on the 3rd February, and the man himself will be headlining. With support from drum’n'bass legend Adam F and also London’s Femme, the fatale who will be opening with some big electro pop tunes, we can’t think of anywhere else we’d like to be next Friday night.

The legendary dub producer, and muso to The Clash, Lee Scratch Perry, is hitting the legendary Jazz Cafe venue next week, as part of his UK wide tour. If you’re wondering what all this ‘dub step’ fuss this is pretty much where it all started. In the 50s.

Founded in Glasgow, and recently upping sticks to the big smoke, H&P have been hosting and, latterly releasing some mighty fine acts with an off-centre electronic bent. Think Nicolas Jaar, Actress and Caribou. Look out for secret guest announcements on the day – forward-thinking dance music lovers will not be disappointed!
December 08, 2011 @ Cargo
END OF THE ROAD FESTIVAL CHRISTMAS SHINDIG
End of the Road Festival will be returning to Cargo for their annual knees-up on Thursday 8th December. What better way to ring in the Christmas season, than with live music, DJs, hot cider on the patio and Christmas presents.
Topping the bill are Newcastle’s psychedelic pop polymaths Beth Jeans Houghton & The Hooves of Destiny. If you’ve never seen the band perform live, you’re in for a treat: expect towering songs of borderline genius and off-the-wall between-song banter.
Support comes from the wonderful Dan Mangan + Oh Ruin

He’s also been honing his debut live show in preparation for the performance on 28th November at The Shacklewell Arms.
Already championed by Zane Lowe, Dazed and VBS online , 2012 looks set to be the year when Kwes’ own creations and compositions break him away from the studio and into the spotlight.

This is the first London headline show by Diagrams, the new project by Sam Genders, previously in Tunng. Diagrams’ EP came out on Full Time Hobby earlier this year and got ‘Pick of the Week’ in the Guardian Guide who described it as: ‘Like Badly Drawn Boy, Sufjan Stevens and a parliament of owls caught up in a weird feathery, beardy group hug…Lovely.’ The NME are fans too, giving it 8/10 and saying ‘Like Broadcast remapped by James Blake. Sparsely expressed, yet drenched inoptimism’. Go, and discover something new and exciting! Support from Young Husband.
