Black Sabbath for Eurovision

Erm..

Forget Bonnie Tyler, the masters of reality themselves Black Sabbath are entering this year’s Eurovision Song Contest! Well, sort of. It turns out guitarist Tony Iommi has co-written Armenia’s entry, an English-language song called ‘Lonely Planet’ by the band Dorians.

Unfortunately Dorians won’t be joined by Estonia’s Winny Puhh, who’s incredible track ‘Meiecundimees üks Korsakov läks eile Lätti’ was sadly beaten in the final. Gutted. It will remain the greatest Eurovision track that never was…

Kanye Rant no. 2017695...
We all know Kanye West loves a good rant, but in the past couple of weeks he has really been pushing the envelope with two controversial outbursts. The first was at a performance in London (you can check out the video here and find the full transcript here). The second resulted from his fury at being placed 7th In MTV’s Hottest Rappers in the Game List. Kanye argued that the list did not concentrate enough on lyrics. There was one particular lyric of his that he felt had not been taken into consideration. It was about his wife’s ex-husband, Kris Humphries, who plays for the Brooklyn Nets, which Kanye’s friend Jay Z owns. The line is 'Lucky I ain't had Jay drop him from the team'. The modest and self-critical Kanye said ‘Ain't no bar, ain't no bar in the entire past 12 months that's hotter than that bar. That's one bar!’
