Youngster Held Without Bail for Bad Rap

Youngster Held Without Bail for Bad Rap
If you can bear to watch the video above, then you'll probably agree that Cameron D'Ambrosio, aka Cammy Dee, should probably be banned from rapping forever. However, you'd probably admit that slamming him in prison for three months without bail on terrorism charges is a bit much. But that's what's happened. The 18-year-old Bostonian posted the following lyrics on the internet while skipping school on May 1st: "(Expletive) a Boston bomin', wait till u see the (expletive) I do, I’ma be famous rapping, and beat every murder charge that comes across me!". While pretty misguided in the wake of a local atrocity (and in the idea that he's destined for rap fame), it's not exactly an act of terror. Certain corners of the media were quick to republish the lyrics, while omitting the key word 'rapping' in the quoted line for extra sensationalism, and despite the fact that a police raid on D'Ambrosio's house turned up no relevant evidence whatsoever, a judge with his head up his arse still ruled that he should be held without bail for three months pending trial. If you think that's a bit fucking much for an immature teenager whose main crime is not being very good at rapping, there's a petition to sign here.
