Another London band with big choruses to mull over this week. Fractures take the Suede side of things on in a big way, no complaints here as sing-a-long harmonies combine with a big guitar sound worthy of festival crowds. Already backed by the NME and with a Razorlight support slot in the works these guys are sure to carve their own indent into the current indie uprising.

Savages

Savages
Stradling the midpoint between industrial punk and something close grunge is 'Husbands' by Savages. These four girls, born from front woman Jehn Beth's indie record label Pop Noire, definitely want to give over a moody and brooding appearance. 'Flying To Berlin' has a bass line straight from Peter Hooks low slung attitude. From appearing on the main stage at Field Day and creating a buzz from various showings at hip London venues, it'd be nice to see this post punk quartet branch out their ideas and bring this attitude to something which could be a little less "meh" at times. Note: Go and see them live .
