Its been while since we heard from Mr Manuva. Now he has joined forces with a producer by the name of WrongTom to release a new project entitled Duppy Writer. All songs are preformed in a Greenpoint living room of one of the singers on Super 8mm camera. Wicked!

We had to write about this, it is one of the best festivals out there, mixing a distinct and radical mix of critically lauded acts with brand new, hotly tipped, emergent bands. They are paired so well, that you can see where a lot of the new bands get their inspiration from!

Its not too big – you can get there on the tube – and it has a psychedelic sports day – what is there not to like?

Well you cant complain about the line up

MYSTERY JETS | LIQUID LIQUID | MALE BONDING | KAP BAMBINO | BO NINGEN | ATARI TEENAGE RIOT | CARIBOU | THESE NEW PURITANS | CHROME HOOF | MONOTONIX | PULLED APART BY HORSES | JOHN & JEHN | WETDOG | FACTORY FLOOR | TEETH!!! | MOUNT KIMBIE | ESBEN AND THE WITCH | ANNA CALVI | CONNAN MOCKASIN | LA SHARK | GRAFFITI ISLAND |

It’s starting to look like my most played on my ipod!
