When Beyonce announced a special event earlier today, most people were hoping for the release of a single/tour date/sex tape. Instead it was the launch of her new Pepsi ad, which features the singer being confronted by a posse of past Beyonces so they can all have a little boogie together, before someone smashes a mirror. The message – drinking Pepsi leads to narcissistic lunacy and bizarre flashbacks – doesn’t seem to have quelled its popularity, with Pepsi currently trending even above Beyonce herself.
