BBC Radio 1, has announced that the station is set to stage the BBC’s biggest ever free-ticketed live music event. Working in partnership with Hackney Council, BBC Radio 1′s Hackney Weekend 2012 will feature six BBC stages and 100,000 people will be able to attend – for free. bbc.co.uk

Lucky hackney residents, good old london fields is having a free festival and its going to be great! Specially for me, cause its walking distance, the line up includes: Mirrors, Anna Calvi, Laura J Martin and Michael Jackson. Yes. Its true, there will also be beer. Excellent, see you there? Saturday 1130am onwards!!!
