When Beyonce announced a special event earlier today, most people were hoping for the release of a single/tour date/sex tape. Instead it was the launch of her new Pepsi ad, which features the singer being confronted by a posse of past Beyonces so they can all have a little boogie together, before someone smashes a mirror. The message – drinking Pepsi leads to narcissistic lunacy and bizarre flashbacks – doesn’t seem to have quelled its popularity, with Pepsi currently trending even above Beyonce herself. And that’s despite Twitter campaigns like the one below…

Fresh Cotton Launch 'Baked' Drug Cookbook
Drugs are not something brands usually rush to be associated with (I mean, look how quickly Lance Armstrong's sponsors have deserted him...) but clothing retailer Fresh Cotton have racked up a mighty line of potent marketing by producing a drug cookbook to promote the launch of a new range of Stüssy Amsterdam t-shirts. Chef Misha Sukyas has also produced a series of accompanying video recipes, although sourcing the ingredients for a head-spinning dish of Veal in a Salvia Divinorum Crust, with Magic Truffles and Marijuana (recipe above) maybe prove tricky if you don't live in the Netherlands. Still, it's a touch classier than the last campaign that the Arnold Amsterdam agency ran for Stüssy, 'Strip for Stüssy', which featured a model whose clothes disappeared as 'likes' increased...
