Tesco to Launch Music Service

In 2011, Tesco acquired the on-demand film and TV service Blinkbox, they are now planning to join the likes of Google and Apple and launch a music service under this brand. Experts have predicted that companies that specialise in video-on-demand would look to add music services, possibly by obtaining streaming companies currently specialising in audio. When Tesco bought streaming music service We7 last June, it seemed likely Blinkbox would be one of the first to achieve this. Tesco will be launching Blinkboxmusic at the same time as Blinkboxbooks in the near future.
