Lots of things are both beautiful and sinister. David Lynch films. Ornate knives. Pomegranates. Tilda Swinton. And this video, for LA duo The Peach Kings. Featuring a woman tied to a chair upon the top of a building, the camera pans around unpredictably, occasionally settling on virtually transparent figures camouflaged against the landscape. It creates a slightly supernatural sense of voyeurism, the perfect showcase for a sparse, gorgeous song.

Tame Impala - Feels Like We Only Go Backwards
Being ill as an adult isn't nearly as fun as it is when you're a kid. Back then, it meant a day off school with nothing more to do than watch Sesame Street, eat cereal and desperately warm the thermometer up between your thighs in the hope that it might just get you another day off. Tame Impala presumably took a few sick days off as children judging by their new video (or perhaps spent a few too many bong breaks watching daytime TV in later life), which appears to be a homage to the psychedelic animations Sesame Street produced in its seventies heyday, which inspired even Philip Glass to produce exclusive material for the show. While the Perth band's video may lack any educational value, it sure is pretty to look at when you're whacked out on ibuprofen and ginger tea, waiting for the sweating to cease...
