Probably one of the bands we’ve ever seen live, this self declared ‘death-blues’ duo pack a punch of the balls-y rock variety. Hailed by Arctic Monkeys’ sticks man Matt Helders (no surprises listening to the musical leanings their recent track) and after a month of supporting Pulled Apart By Horses, expect legions of tattoo’s Wet Nuns fans soon to be storming grunge-y venues across the UK. Oh, and don’t watch the video when you’re eating your tea.

We The Dead
Mancunian five piece We The Dead have had this singular track working its way through the online universe over the past couple of months, and its deffinitely sounding promising to us. As ever with a band from the wettest place in England there's the references to the post punk shoe-gaze collective to be made, but there's a gloomy optimism flowing through this track which gives this lot their individuality. Fingers crossed there's more to come.
