Alex and JB are French pop duo ‘Call Me Señor’. The band create songs full of melodies similar to ‘David Bowie’ and ‘The Strokes’ whilst their beats and pace are tailor-made for the dance-floor; and obviously to get the girls up and dancing.

The video you can see below encapsulates what I think of as a Parisian lifestyle – the stripy tops, scooters, over exposed film and of course the Eifel Tower. Sounding like an upbeat ‘Elliot Smith’ (I know I didn’t think that could be possible either), “The Coast” floods back memories of the incredible late artist and his haunting songs.

Streaming song “The Enemy” is different with more of an electro feel. I have heard a few more of the duo’s songs and they explore a lot of different genres, I reckon they are in a growing stage and we see a lot more; as well as their best still to come.
